Today's Snapshot
Here is today's snapshot, a new series of candid photos taken with my pocket camera during the trip to Barcelona, Spain in April 2008. Full set, which is updated daily can be found on Flickr.
Barcelona is a very old city but its architecture has a very modern side to it as well. Past the Olympic Village in the part called Diagonal Mar, right at the seafront is a new Barcelona full of state of the art condominiums designed with a flare and innovation. Some of the buildings have interesting shapes and colours, giving the urban area a fresh modern look. The proximity to the beaches, makes them an attractive yuppy neighbourhood.
I could not resist this photo opportunity when I saw both of them parked together on the street - here is the new and old mini!

prefer the old one (Mini)
I drive the new one from time to time and it is an awesome car on the highway, but you are right about the old - there is so much more charm to it. Love them for sure! It is amazing there are still so many running all over the world.
