Today's Snapshot

Here is today's snapshot, a new series of candid photos taken with my pocket camera during the trip to Barcelona, Spain in April 2008. Like most of European cities, traffic is bumper to bumper most of the time, plus there is an amazing amount of mopeds everywhere. As matter of fact, Barcelona is the Europe's capital when it comes to the highest amount of registered motorcycles - with over one million of them on the streets, they have truly overrun the city. As you walk anywhere, you can see unbelievable amount of them parked all over this great city. With gas prices around €1.15 a liter, limited space to park a car and mild Mediterranean climate year around, I am not surprised by their popularity in Barcelona!
